Steward Of The Month
This month's Steward is Anna, Christ the King, Commack
Anna has been part of the Children's Choir at Christ the King Parish since second grade.
"From ice cream and raffles to concerts and singing in front of the parish, it has been so much fun. It has given me the opportunity to not only have a bigger part in our community but also serve God and strengthen my faith. The Children's Choir has given me a sense of belonging and has taught me the importance of service and helping others. Also, it has encouraged me to volunteer my time and become more involved with my church. I am also an Altar Server and I look forward to when I can help with Children's Faith Formation classes," shared Anna.
Like so many parishes in our Diocese, Christ the King has many opportunities for our young people to get involved.
Concluded Anna, " There are so many ways to become involved at your Parish, and I feel that it is so important to always serve God and your community. If, like me, you love to sing, be part of a Choir - you'll also make lots of new friends. Next year, I will sing with the Junior Schola and I can't wait!"
