The Diocesan Stewardship Committee This Committee is appointed by the Bishop and consists of religious, clergy (priests and deacons), lay parish and diocesan leaders. The purpose of the Committee is to share ideas and give input to various aspects of the implementation of parish stewardship throughout our Diocese. The Committee meets twice during the Pastoral Year and is composed of up to 20 members, each having a three year term. The terms of about one-third of the Committee expire each year, so as to allow "new blood" to enter. About one-fourth of the Committee are ex-officio members with unlimited terms. The larger Committee is broken down into four Subcommittees that focus on particular aspects of the administration or implementation of parish stewardship in the diocese. The Subcommittees meet when necessary. They are:Communications Program Membership and Evaluation Executive
