It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Long Island Interfaith Environmental Network (LIIEN), which was formed by a group of environmentally conscious congregations of several faiths, in conjunction with the environmental group Neighborhood Network.
LIIEN held its first event last May, 2007 and another in April 2008—these events help raise the consciousness of all of the Faith Communities of Long Island. The response was very enthusiastic!
