Question: Is the Automated Giving Program Right for Your Parish?
Answer: YES! YES! YES!
There are many benefits for both the parish and the parishioner when your parish participates in the Automated Giving Program!
For example, Automated Giving:
* Provides an opportunity for the parishioner to keep their financial
stewardship gift a priority.
* Allows for financial gifts to be received even when the parishioner is
not at Mass.
* Creates a more reliable and predictable revenue stream over time.
* Are safer and more secure than cash.

We received a great resource (thanks to Fr. Tom Mulvanerty, Diocesan Director, Office of Ministry to Priests). It's published by the Henri Nouwen Society and is writings of Henri concerning the spirituality of fund-raising. This is an excellent resource and a must have for all those involved in stewardship leadership! Even though the word "stewardship" isn't used (the writings were from years ago), the spiritual principle are throughout the book! Many of you know the work of Henri Nouwen - renowned spiritual author, respected professor, and beloved pastor.
